this looks like an amazing place to see a show.
above sentiments apply. i kind of really wanted to go to this show. the tickets were still available when i found out about it, and apparently woodstock is only seven hours away. i would really like to see julian play with jeff at some point in time.
when i was going to see jeff in september, my dad was like “IS JULIAN GOING TO BE THERE?” it was pretty adorable. i think he feels better about my random adventures if he knows that julian is going to be there, since it seems he has finally come to terms with the fact that julian is probably not going to murder me, nor would he allow me to be murdered (probably).

Gymnopédie No. 1
i had this thought each night that one of the phrases from gymnopédie number three sounded a lot part of two headed boy part two, which maybe was just because i was looking forward to hearing two headed boy part two, but maybe also not, since jeff did hand choose these songs, and maybe his whole thought process was “maybe someone will pick up on this.” but then again, maybe not.
additionally, i wonder how many of the people who were like “AHHHH THAT GAVIN BRYARS SONG WAS TOO LONG” would’ve thought that if they opened with it, instead of closing with it. ACME did point out each night that it was their last piece before jeff’s set, which i can’t imagine helped with people’s anxiousness.
i am very easily overwhelmed by things.
